Pyrus Cottage was the perfect start for our time in Coonawarra. Around the corner from great wineries and Ottelia, the location could not be better. The cottage was pretty and had everything we needed. The fireplace easily warmed the cottage. The bed was wonderful. Fresh bread was delivered for breakfast. Great value.

Strongly recommend this hotel.

During our stay at a charming cottage in the heart of a renowned wine region, we were captivated by the rustic atmosphere and warm hospitality. The location allowed us to easily explore various wineries, like the nearby Wynn's cellar door, and indulge in quality wines. The cottage offered a truly Australian experience with its cozy and homely vibe. Surrounded by friendly people and abundant birdlife, we enjoyed the tranquil setting. The delightful surprise of hot bread delivered to our door for breakfast added a touch of luxury.

It would have been even better if there were some extra toiletries and cushions on the lounge.

My stay at Pyrus Cottage was incredibly enjoyable, relaxing, and peaceful. The cottage, nestled among the vineyards, had a charming old-fashioned feel and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I loved the thoughtful extras like the fruit platter, fresh eggs, butter, milk, and the hot baked loaf of bread delivered each morning. The vases of fresh roses in the living room and bedroom added a lovely touch. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic tankwater in the bathroom, which left my hair glossy for days.

There were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a flywire screen on the kitchen window. On a hot night, this meant we couldn't have good airflow through the living room to the kitchen, and we had to keep the air conditioning on, which felt wasteful.

We loved the spacious cottage, perfect for us and our large dog. The small front yard was great for our pup to run around, and we enjoyed saying hello to the owner's kelpie next door. The freshly baked bread delivered in the morning and the breakfast supplies in the fridge were a delightful touch. Comfortable stay in a charming cottage with all the amenities needed.

Felt completely at home, with the host going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Nothing was too much trouble.

This little cottage is an exceptional find in Coonawarra. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the Coonawarra walking trail with 5 or 6 wineries within a 5-10 minute walk. The hospitality of host Maria was fantastic, and we loved the freshly baked bread delivered in the morning. The cottage itself is comfortable and clean, with all the kitchen stuff needed to make dinner/breakfast. Perfect for couples.

We had a fantastic time at Pyrus Cottage! The location amidst vineyards was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was charming, with fresh flowers and a cozy fire waiting for us. The highlight was the delicious freshly baked bread delivered to our door in the morning. Maria, the host, was lovely and incredibly helpful. Being able to walk home from Wynns winery was a bonus. We'll definitely be back!

This brilliant accommodation is nestled in beautiful bird-filled gardens, offering a peaceful retreat for business travelers. It is conveniently located within walking distance of some of the world's best wineries. The freshly made bread, real eggs, and fresh herbs and fruit provided are a delightful touch. The cottage is well-maintained and offers a cozy atmosphere, complete with a wood burner and delicious breakfast provisions. Guests can also borrow bikes to explore the local vineyards.

Limited kitchen worktop space may be a minor inconvenience for guests.

We absolutely loved our stay at the charming cottage nestled amidst picturesque vineyards. The welcoming ambiance and crackling fire on our arrival made us feel instantly at home. The fresh flowers in little vases added a lovely touch, and the highlight was definitely the delicious freshly baked bread delivered right to our door. Maria, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful - providing us with valuable information about the region. As people who enjoy karaoke and casinos, we were delighted to find that the cottage was conveniently located near Ottelia + Fodder, the only eatery within 1km, and Chardonnay Lodge, just a few kilometers away. With no supermarkets nearby, it's best to come prepared with food if you're arriving late in the evening.

We felt so comfortable during our stay that there was simply no reason to complain.
