Had a great new year at a remote retreat! Loved the well-prepared breakfast items and the large and clean spa bath. the location was a bit far but only a 20-minute drive to a famous mountain. the drive was challenging but the narrow hilly road added a thrill to the journey.

The bed was not comfortable, which made it difficult to have a good night's sleep. Wished the retreat had better bedding options.

Conveniently close to visitor center and nearby inn for dining. Large, modern bathroom. Easy parking. Beautiful setting and warm log fire.

I had such a memorable stay here. The location nestled in the forest was absolutely breathtaking. The moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning surroundings. The cottage itself was spacious and beautifully designed. I couldn't believe how well-equipped the kitchen was, with all the utensils and facilities I needed. The breakfast provided was hearty and delicious, giving me the perfect start to my day before exploring the nearby Cradle Mountain. The attention to detail was evident, from the extra little touches like bubble bath for the bath to the bread and spreads for toast. I also appreciated the eco-friendly initiatives taken by the staff in such a natural, pristine area. This place exceeded all my expectations and was definitely the highlight of my trip!

That the walls were quite thin, and I could hear movements from the next-door cabin.

During our Easter stay, we enjoyed the beautiful and convenient location of the retreat. It was great to see wild animals from our window and have fully equipped kitchen facilities at a great price. the parking was also very convenient, and we were able to make a comfortable 30-minute drive to the nearby national park.

It was tough to deal with especially given the chilly Easter shower situation. It would have been better if the shower had worked correctly so we could warm up after a long day of hiking.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful retreat surrounded by nature. The spacious cabin had a cozy log fire and a relaxing spa bath, perfect after a day of exploring Cradle Mountain. The kitchen was well-equipped and the dining table could comfortably seat 8 people. The highlight was the breathtaking view from the balcony. I highly recommend Cradle Alpine Retreat for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

If you're looking for a cosy retreat not far from Cradle Mountain, this is the place for you. The cabin offers comfortable beds with good pillows and a lovely hot bath to relax in after a long day of exploring. The beautiful scenery surrounding the retreat is a bonus, perfect for spotting pademelons.

The nearby restaurant was closed and there was limited contact with the manager upon arrival.

The location is perfect, just down the road from a beautiful lake and a short drive away from the stunning Cradle Mountain. The rooms are comfortable, with cozy beds and plenty of amenities like ironing facilities and a kitchenette. The on-site restaurant offers delicious meals, and the staff are friendly and helpful. You'll love waking up to the tranquil surroundings and the picturesque views.

The lack of cooking utensils in the cabin was a bit inconvenient, but the nearby restaurant makes up for it.
