The location was perfect for our visit to Cradle Mountain, just a short drive away. It was very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. We loved being able to feed the local wildlife, especially the pademelons, and it made for some great photo opportunities. the cabin had a cozy fireplace which we enjoyed using to warm up. it was a great place to relax and unwind during the Christmas holidays.

Although the cabin was remote and away from any shops or restaurants, it was not as far from the main road as we expected. The bed mattress was a bit saggy in the middle, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep on.

The location of Wombat Cabin was perfect for exploring Cradle Mountain. We were thrilled to find ourselves surrounded by the beauty of nature, feeling secluded and at peace. The cabin itself was a little piece of bush paradise, with all the comforts of home. We loved the privacy and the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Feeding the pademelons with the provided pellets was such a unique experience. The open fire and cooking facilities were fantastic, and the breakfast groceries provided gave us the flexibility to enjoy our meals at our own pace. Despite a few minor inconveniences like limited phone coverage and the lack of internet and live TV, the overall experience at Wombat Cabin was unforgettable. We highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable and tranquil getaway. I would definitely recommend this property for a unique and immersive Cradle Mountain experience.
