I had an amazing stay at the only privately owned wildlife sanctuary in the Daintree. The hosts made me feel at home and were incredibly friendly and informative. The highlight was getting up close and personal with the hand-reared kangaroos and wallabies, even helping to bottle feed them! The property itself was beautiful, with lush greenery and a pool where I could relax while the wallabies nibbled on grass nearby. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. I also enjoyed the peacefulness of the location, away from the hustle and bustle of Port Douglas. I highly recommend this unique and unforgettable experience.

One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the wildlife, with kangaroos and emus roaming freely just outside our door. Additionally, the convenient location near the ferry allowed for easy access to explore the Daintree region.

The dinner options at the B&B were limited and didn't quite meet our expectations.

Spent Easter in the wildest place ever! Animals everywhere, it was like sleeping in a zoo! The whole experience was magical. The pool-side rooms were spacious, comfortable, and right next to the animals, amazing! Breakfast was included, and we enjoyed fresh fruit.

Although the shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained, it was inconvenient to have to walk through the outdoor environment at night. The road signs are not very clear, and we had to retrace our steps to find the correct location.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the stunning views over the zoo from the rooms with a shared balcony. The location is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, as it is close to the ferry.
