I recently stayed at a budget motel in central Queensland highlands and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, right in the main street, and we enjoyed lovely meals in the bistro. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great shower in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met. Additionally, there was plenty of parking available for our convenience.

I did encounter one negative aspect - the room was a bit small and lacked adequate seating options.

The availability of ample parking space was a bonus, especially since we had two cars. The tavern on the property served delicious food and had a nice atmosphere. The hotel had a convenient location close to the highway and near a pub and a convenience store, which was handy for late night snacks. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra towels. the room was large and clean, making it comfortable for our Christmas stay.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the noise from the nearby miners getting up early in the morning made it difficult to sleep-in, even on Christmas day.
