We recently had a romantic escape in a beautifully designed historic building. the interior design was stunning, with a perfect blend of modern and Victorian elements. the attention to detail was impressive, from the custom joinery to the pressed metal details. Our suite was incredibly spacious, with a luxurious freestanding bath in the room and a stunning bathroom with Burberry inspired tiles. the bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a dreamy night's sleep. We also enjoyed a delicious meal for dinner and a scrumptious breakfast in a stylish annex.

The only downside of our stay was that our room was not cleaned and fresh towels were not supplied. We were shocked and disappointed by this, especially considering the price we paid.

The location of the hotel is perfect, being within walking distance to the main shopping strip and local attractions. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and high-end amenities such as soaps and mini-bars. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing guests with a helpful information sheet and offering a buffet breakfast. Bikes are also available for guests to use if they want to explore the area.

Some rooms may lack privacy due to facing common walkways and parking areas.

The hotel also had free Wi-Fi, which was a great convenience. this place was a delightful and luxurious retreat for us.
