The staff were incredible, always smiling and super helpful, even when we were being rowdy. The vibe was amazing, with top-notch jazz, yummy food, and great wine and bubbles. The hotel had a charming English B&B feel with lovely extra touches like a refreshments station and antiques. Sam and his uncle were so friendly and accommodating, allowing early check-in and bag storage. The location was perfect for exploring the city, the harbour, and nearby attractions. The pub was a bonus, a perfect spot to chill and soak in the atmosphere. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials like a fridge, TV, and coffee service. The staff made me feel like a part of the Sydney experience. this worldwide gem was mind-blowing, and I can't wait to come back!

The hotel has a charming, glamorous feel, with comfy, beautiful rooms filled with antiques. The self-service tea and coffee bar is super convenient, and the bathrooms are squeaky clean with great shower pressure. The pub downstairs serves delicious food and offers great entertainment. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even looked after our luggage.

The jazz band on Sundays was a treat! Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were spick and span. Location was fabulous, with cafes galore and a scenic stroll to touristy spots.

Bathrooms were a waterpark, with no towels. Doors auto-lock, giving me anxiety about bathroom breaks.

We had a great stay at this charming hotel in the heart of the city. the staff at East Sydney Hotel were incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the location was perfect, within walking distance to major attractions like Town Hall and Hyde Park. the hotel also had a coffee station with excellent quality coffee, which we really enjoyed. the rooms had a lovely old-world charm with beautiful timber furniture and quaint floral carpets, all kept clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options on the menu, especially the delicious vegan cheeseburger. the pub had a great vibe and a local crowd, and we loved the live jazz band on Sunday afternoons.

The hotel's location is unbeatable - just a short walk to Town Hall or Kings Cross train station, making it easy to explore the city using public transport. Plus, it's conveniently close to the outdoor opera on Sydney Harbour. The room was comfortable and filled with charming antiques, while the bathrooms were always clean with great water pressure in the showers. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the shared tea and coffee bar in the hallway was a nice touch.

The room was a bit stuffy and had a lingering smell of smoke, which detracted from the overall experience.
