While the motel buildings could use some upgrades and maintenance, the stunning location right by Burrill Lake is truly special. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well-furnished, with a lovely view of the lake. The free toiletries and thoughtful amenities like a separate smoking area and recycling area show the hosts care about their guests. Despite the exterior needing some work, the interiors have been nicely renovated.

Our stay at the Burrill motel was for relaxation, and we were delighted by the prime location near Burrill Lake. the manager, a lovely lady, greeted us warmly, and the room was elegantly furnished with a spacious layout and a breathtaking view of the lake. the cleanliness was impeccable, including the hygienically maintained wet area, comfortable bedding, and a well-equipped barbecue area. the peaceful ambiance, secure premises, and efficient hot water supply added to our pleasant experience.

The mattress was comfortable and I slept well. Room 10 had windows with a wide lake view. The staff called when we were running late and arranged a late check-in. The location was near the lake, but surprisingly quiet. The room was clean, had basic facilities, and the air con was a relief in the hot weather.
