We were absolutely blown away by the jaw-dropping size of the room at this hotel. Not to mention the super convenient bistro downstairs and the fact that the Spirit of Tasmania was right across the road. Despite its central location, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep on the warm and cozy bed. The bathroom was well appointed with a nice hot shower and plenty of towels. The heating worked flawlessly, keeping us comfortably warm throughout our stay. We loved the convenience of having The Central downstairs for a delicious dinner without having to leave the complex. our experience here was nothing short of amazing!

The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with any issues. the food at the restaurant was amazing, with the Tasmanian Salmon being a standout dish. the location was convenient for catching the Spirit of Tasmania the next morning.

There were some concerns with the cleanliness of the hotel. the carpet in the room was dirty and gave off an unpleasant odor.

I recently stayed at The Formby Hotel for a few nights for leisure purposes. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of size and cleanliness. It was a pleasant surprise to have the bed made and towels changed daily. The staff at the hotel were delightful and provided excellent service. The location of the hotel was convenient, with the CBD and popular restaurants within easy walking distance.

I do recommend this hotel.

the hotel staff were fantastic and even kept the kitchen open later like me who were delayed due to the Spirit's late arrival. the room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and the added luxury of opening windows for fresh air. the bathroom had plenty of space and the hotel's central location made it easy for me to get around. I had a great experience at the hotel and would definitely recommend it for a short stay.

The location was perfect, just a short distance from the bus depot and tourist information center. The room was spacious, with air conditioning and a refrigerator. The best part was the restaurant, the food was amazing! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Devonport.

I had a fantastic experience at Formby. the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially when the Spirit of Tasmania was delayed. They extended the kitchen hours so that we could have a meal, which was greatly appreciated. the room was clean, comfortable, and warm, and the location was perfect, with a great view of the boat. the common room was also a great addition, allowing us to have a quick breakfast before heading out. Highly recommended!
