This hotel is a great value for money with breakfast included. The location is perfect as it is in a great spot, within a medium walking distance from the main shopping area but secluded enough to offer views over the gardens complete with grazing kangaroos. I also appreciated the staff's attention to detail in providing clean rooms with comfy beds.

No negative aspects to mention, all was ok.

A Warm Welcome and Excellent Service

My friends and I had an unexpected camping mishap and found ourselves stranded in bad weather. We were lucky enough to stumble upon the Gariwerd Motel, where the owners went out of their way to help us. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, providing us with a last-minute room that was warm and cozy. The motel's kitchenette was a bonus, allowing us to cook and relax together. The owners even wished us well for the rest of our camping trip. It's rare to find such compassionate and genuine hosts. I highly recommend this motel for its amazing hospitality and service.

The complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi were the only complimentary things offered, but they were both decent. the city centre was nearby and easy to access, which was convenient for sightseeing. the scenic views from the hotel room were undoubtedly the best aspect of this staycation.

The cleanliness of the hotel room was subpar and the lack of proper hygiene standards was concerning. the bathroom was not properly cleaned and there were hairs in the shower.

We had a fantastic experience staying in the heart of Grampians. The motel was ideally located, right in the centre of town with all the lookouts and highlights just a short drive away. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations and advice. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and loved the relaxing bush seating area out the back. it was the perfect base for our Grampians adventure.

There was no laundry onsite, but it didn't detract from our overall experience.

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. Plus, the location was perfect, with restaurants, cafes, and even an ice cream shop just a short walk away. We were able to easily explore Halls Gap and the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel.
