The location of this hotel was excellent, as it was very close to the town center. It made it convenient for us to explore the area and visit the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and a fully equipped bathroom. The service provided by the owner was exceptional - he was friendly, helpful, and ensured that we had everything we needed. The breakfast offered delicious options, including a delightful rhubarb and apple compote. the hotel provided a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The garden was a bit dry during our stay, but a heavy downpour of rain quickly refreshed the surroundings.

We booked this hotel for our Christmas break and the one thing we liked was that it was located in a peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the hotel also had a nice garden where we could sit and relax. the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Our experience at this hotel was not the best. the room was small and cramped, with uncomfortable beds.

Comfortable four poster bed with soft linen and fluffy towels. Unique room in a former chapel, with easy access to verandah and garden. Beautifully decorated with interesting antiques and artwork. Delicious breakfast with pretty silver cutlery and china. Lovely historic house with a pretty garden.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in an historic home. The attention to detail in the period furnishings and decor was impressive. I loved the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere in the rooms on the ground floor. The hotel's location in Main Street was perfect, with shops and amenities close by. The staff were friendly and provided a lovely breakfast with attractively arranged fruit and homemade treats.

All was great, no room for improvement!
