We loved the location in the back field, so close to Lake St Clair and halfway between Strahan and Launceston. The hotel facilities were fantastic, and we enjoyed the opportunity to hold baby orphaned wombats and a joey at the local wildlife carer. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

My recent stay at Highland Cabins And Cottages At was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the peacefulness of the bushland. The sunsets were simply breathtaking. The added touch of port in the room was a delightful surprise. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The limited space on the kitchen bench can be a bit challenging when preparing meals.

Loved the free port and the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the cabin was surrounded by nature and had a really nice verandah to relax on.

The cabin was quite small and couldn't accommodate our luggage properly. It was quite remote, so there were no local activities to enjoy except for walking.

The cabin had everything we needed, including lamps in the living area, which is a rare find. The host, Gloria, was excellent and even lit the wood fire for our arrival, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We requested an early check-in for a wedding, and the staff accommodated our request without any issues. The check-in process was smooth, and the room exceeded our expectations. a great stay and highly recommended.
