I recently stayed at a new and conveniently located hotel near Southern Cross Station. The staff at Holiday Inn Express were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were modern and clean. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Moreover, the breakfast provided a decent start to the day, with options like scrambled eggs, bacon, and yogurt available. The hotel's proximity to Southbank allowed for easy exploration of Melbourne.

The entry to the hotel/lobby desk was a bit confusing, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel had just opened four days before my arrival, and it was very clean and well-maintained. The staff at the reception, elevator, and cleaning team were all very friendly and helpful. The room had a good view of the city, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast provided a good selection of cereals, bread, croissants, eggs, baked beans, yogurt. The location of the hotel, close to Southern Cross Station, was convenient for exploring the city. The night-light in the bathroom was a nice touch, making it easy to find your way in the dark. Despite a few minor issues with the room design and payment process, I would still recommend the Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins for its overall good experience.

Complementary breakfast had a wide variety of options. the hotel location was right next to the train station and bus terminal making getting around easy. the gym had a decent amount of equipment.

The bed was uncomfortable and seemed old. the room was not well serviced as it was not cleaned on the first day and toiletries were not replenished.

As foreign tourists, we loved the modern and clean facilities at the hotel. The staff were fantastic and professional, providing great assistance during our stay. The hotel's location, just a few minutes walk from Southern Cross Station, made it convenient for us to explore the city. We also appreciated the storage service for our luggage, allowing us to explore the city even before check-in or after checking out.
