Staying at this hotel was a real treat compared to my previous experiences. the owners were fabulous, so welcoming and helpful. the decor gave a nostalgic feel, and the full-sized snooker table was a fun surprise for the evenings. the outdoor pool was a perfect Oasis in the heat. the hotel's location is fantastic, just around the corner from the main road, making it easy to explore the town's attractions and return to a peaceful environment.

While my stay was mostly excellent, one minor improvement could be more attention to the musty smell in some rooms. Aside from that, there wasn't much to fault.

I always return for city break to my spotlessly clean and well-equipped stay. the staff kindly assisted with my elderly parents. Free parking, Wi-Fi, pool, and outdoor area suit me perfectly. Never any regrets.

We had a gloriously comfortable stay in this beautiful historic hotel. The spacious accommodation was tastefully restored and centrally located. I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in a great location, surrounded by good eateries and within walking distance to the town center. The service and housekeeping were exceptional, ensuring that my room was always clean and well-maintained. The room amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning, made my stay even more comfortable. I also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for me to unwind after a long day.

The accommodation was nicely renovated and had comfortable, spacious rooms. One of the best things was the provision of a wide veranda where we enjoyed breakfast, overlooking a lovely garden and pool. We also appreciated the complimentary cheese, crackers, and port which was a nice touch.

The hotel doesn't have a bar/restaurant downstairs, but we found plenty nearby, and the parking was limited. We also had to climb the stairs as there was no lift to our room.
