The hotel is perfectly situated next to a beautiful beach area, allowing guests to enjoy the sun and sand. The location is also convenient for visiting theme parks and exploring the nearby sanctuary cove restaurants.

The rooms are a little dated, which may not suit those looking for a modern and trendy atmosphere.

Excellent location with great access to Gold Coast or Brisbane. Surrounding gardens are wonderful. Plenty of space and areas to relax. Lovely pools. Beautiful view overlooking the water. Helpful staff. Little extra luxuries.

Felt like VIP, nothing too much trouble.

We had a fantastic city break and enjoyed the complimentary buggy service to our room. The staff were friendly and informative and we particularly enjoyed the poolside food and bar. The location was perfect for our needs, with easy access to local attractions. We also appreciated the comfortable bed and impressive room.

Another issue we experienced was with the pool bar not being open on Mondays, and we had to sort out our food and drinks on the phone, which was frustrating.

The staff were amazing, beautiful resort, delicious food, accommodating to families, great pool and spa, well-kept grounds.

We had a lovely stay at this resort. The pools were gorgeous, providing plenty of space to relax away from the noise. Our room had a fantastic view, overlooking the River and the resort lagoon. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, going above and beyond to assist us and make us feel welcome. The facilities at the hotel were top-notch, and the meals were prepared with great skill. This resort truly provided a relaxing and luxurious experience.

We had a delightful stay at the Intercontinental. The old-world genuine luxury of the hotel was simply breathtaking. The beautiful environment captured the essence of real beauty, and we felt surrounded by elegance throughout our entire stay.

This hotel has it all. From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty. We were welcomed by friendly staff and given a tour of the luxurious grounds and amenities. The spa and wellness centre was a highlight, with an outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and massage services. We spent our days lounging on sun loungers by the heated saltwater pool, surrounded by a beautiful garden area and beach umbrellas. The private facilities in our room were exclusive and exceeded our expectations. The Restaurant was exceptional, offering in-room breakfast, poolside snack bar, bar/lounge area, buffet breakfast.

We only encountered one minor issue during our stay. The service at the leisure/TV room was slow, but it didn’t detract from our experience of this luxurious venue.

Clean, spacious rooms with lovely lagoon views. Reasonable room cost. Perfect location near attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Peaceful escape from the city.
