A Home Away from Home

During my 3-month stay at this wonderful hostel, I experienced a truly homely atmosphere. The owners, Rod and Leoni, went above and beyond to help us backpackers find work quickly. The cabins and dorms were reasonably priced and well-equipped with modern amenities like TV, DVD player, fridge, and excellent air conditioning. The spacious kitchen served as a central hub for socializing with other travelers. The showers and laundry facilities were top-notch and kept clean daily. But what stood out the most were the memories made and the amazing people I met here. Thank you, Rod and Leoni, for creating a real home away from home for us. I highly recommend Kookaburra Holiday Park for anyone seeking regional farm work.

The hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location directly opposite the ocean provides breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. The service provided by the staff is impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are well-equipped with full-sized fridges and basic amenities, and there is even a delicious breakfast available to start your day off right.

All aspects of this hotel were exceptional.

We had an amazing two-month stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, with shops and the pub just a short walk away. The owners, Rod and Leonie, were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond for us. The facilities, like the kitchen and showers, were cleaned to an excellent standard. Our room was spacious and had a TV and fridge. Plus, the beautiful surroundings made it even better.

The BBQ area could have been cleaner, but it didn't hinder our overall enjoyment.

The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric frypan and ample utensils. The family-friendly setup with a queen bed, two bunks, and a single provides excellent value for money.
