I absolutely adored the cozy country-style lounge with lovely potted plants and landscaping - such a welcoming touch for seniors. the easy accessibility of the communal areas made it a breeze for me to relax and socialize with other guests.

Nothing it is perfect.

Very clean, well-presented room. Easy check-in/out process. Decent quality mattresses. Plenty of good quality pillows/blankets. Reverse cycle heating worked very well. Included breakfast was outstanding; continental and freshly cooked hot options. Towels included.

The location of the lodge was extremely convenient, being right in the centre of town and within easy walking distance to local shops, the information centre, and restaurants. The room was comfortable enough for a family of four, and the common room with a small kitchen was handy, especially for families with children who wanted to play. We had a great Christmas at this lodge! the breakfast was complimentary and really delicious. the location was perfect - we were within walking distance to the shops and the lake. the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They provided us with a drying room and an extra heater in our room to keep us warm during the cold nights.

The walls were a bit thin so we could hear some noise from the next room. We used the complimentary earplugs and were fine though.
