The shower water pressure was a bit low for my liking, but overall, the facilities at Lazy Lizard Motor Inn exceeded my expectations. The comfortable and clean rooms, convenient laundry facilities, and the lovely heated swimming pool were all top-notch. The owners, Aidan and Alex, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips and information for our stay. They even went the extra mile to book tours for us. Although the wifi in the room was a bit spotty, it worked intermittently outside. I would highly recommend Lazy Lizard Motor Inn for a great stay in Port Douglas. I had a fantastic experience and will definitely consider staying here again if I have the opportunity.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel conveniently located just out of the main center of a popular town. This hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail that really impressed me. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with good facilities and even a small kitchenette. I loved being able to prepare my own meals and snacks whenever I wanted. Additionally, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was fantastic, within walking distance of the town center and situated in a quiet area. Plus, the hotel was just minutes away from a beautiful beach, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

The rooms at Lazy Lizard were spotlessly clean and the king bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved the little patio where we could park our car and caravan. The hosts were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The facilities like the washing machine, clothes dryer, and air drying area were a bonus. a great place for travelers like us with a car.

The rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette to make our own breakfast. the pool and spa were clean and refreshing after a long day at work. the owners were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, recommending great places to eat and visit.

The only small issue was that the walls between the rooms were a bit thin, so we could occasionally hear our neighbors. However, this didn't really affect our stay and we still slept well.

The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending reef tours and daintree tours with availability. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was spacious and clean. Bikes were available for use, and the two dogs on the property were friendly. a lovely stay.

They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, assisting us with shuttles, recommending activities, and even providing lactose-free milk for our breakfast.

We had a fabulous stay at this budget-friendly motor inn. The location was perfect, close to everything in Port Douglas. Our spacious and clean room had a window right out to the rainforest, providing a stunning view. The staff were friendly and gave us great tips on local attractions. The facilities, including the pool, BBQ area, and free Eskies, were excellent. We could even borrow face washers and enjoyed the convenience of a well-equipped kitchen. Neg: The lack of a stove top or oven in the kitchen was a small downside.
