Very convenient location, helpful staff, great value for money, quiet and secure parking, close to restaurants and public transport.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Great central spot. I had a wonderful stay at Carlton Lygon Lodge. The location was perfect, being close to the city and transportation options. Plus, there were plenty of amazing restaurants nearby to satisfy my cravings. Despite the rooms being basic, they were clean and had everything I needed. One of the highlights was that my room was on the side, so I didn't hear any street noise. Definitely made for a peaceful night's sleep.

Christmas at this hotel was amazing! We received complimentary chocolates and a bottle of wine upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. the location was fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Plus, it was just a short walk to the beach! the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi.

The noise from the street could be a bit loud at times, especially at night. And while the room was spacious, the decor was a bit outdated.

The hotel offers great value for money with reasonable prices and attention to detail. Its location in a nice suburb just outside the CBD allows easy access to all the restaurants in Lygon Street, amongst all the Italian restaurants. The service provided by the staff is excellent, with friendly and genuine interactions. The rooms have adequate kitchen facilities with amenities to cook own meals, making it convenient for guests. Moreover, having breakfast included is a definite bonus.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

the room was clean, spacious, and looked like it had been recently renovated. It was perfect for my needs, and I especially appreciated the 24-hour staffing that allowed me to explore the area at night and easily return. the lodge was conveniently close to amenities like a 7/11, the NOVA, Readings, and an all-night pizza and pasta place.

We love staying at this cozy lodge in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood. The location is perfect, as we can easily walk to the Exhibition Hall, enjoy the best Lygon St restaurants, catch a movie at Nova cinema, and indulge in delicious meals in the restaurants across the road. The rooms are clean and modern, with large well-appointed bathrooms. The friendly and helpful staff make our stay even more enjoyable.

We did find the noise from the neighboring businesses refrigeration unit quite bothersome at times.

Convenient 24 hr check-in with friendly staff. Quiet, dark room for a peaceful sleep. Spacious and clean with a helpful kitchenette. Perfect location for dining on Lygon Street.
