I was hoping for a nice selection of tea and coffee facilities, but the setup was pretty basic. I mean, the kettle worked fine, but it would have been nice to have some decent tea options instead of just the usual instant coffee packets. Let's talk about the sitting area. By the time I got settled after a long drive, I just wanted to relax and watch some TV. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, but I couldn’t get the WiFi to work half the time. A real letdown when you just want to unwind with a show. It made the couch feel like a disappointing place to hang out since my son had to sleep on the sofa bed, and then I had nowhere comfy to sit. Then there was the patio—had high hopes for that, but it wasn’t really usable. Just a bit grimy and in need of a good sweep. We totally loved chilling in our spacious room and cooking up some bomb home-cooked faves in the kitchen. Plus, we hit up Questacon and had a blast screaming through all the cool exhibits. So much fun! Honestly, it would’ve been awesome if there were more hangout spots for young people to party after a long day. Other places have better vibes for getting the party going!
