We enjoyed our stay at Marquis Hotel Motel. Our room was spacious and bright with a large fridge and a kettle provided. the staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us early check-in and a late checkout. the location, though on the outskirts with a steep hill, had convenient access to a grocery store and bottle shop. the view of the water from our room was lovely, and the free parking was a great perk. a comfortable and value-for-money stay.

The room had a big window with a sweeping view out to the east over Hobart and beyond. It was equipped with everything I needed - split system air conditioning, a small table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities. I especially appreciated that there was a small container of milk provided for my tea.

The room was noisy, which made it a little challenging to relax and unwind. although the room was clean, housekeeping had neglected to provide towels and we had to go to the bottle shop to ask for them.
