The room had all the basics we needed and the overall environment felt secure and welcoming. The location was also perfect, being central to everything we wanted to explore in Melbourne. we had a fantastic experience at Melbourne Central Yha and would highly recommend it.

We did notice that the bunk bed mattress and pillow were a bit worn in and unsupportive. Additionally, the common areas downstairs weren't the most inviting, but they were practical enough for our needs.

Located close to the main train station and right in front of a tram stop, this hostel is in a prime location. Being in the free tram zone allows for easy access to explore the city. there are numerous food options nearby, making it convenient for young families to find meals.

The soundproofing in the rooms is not very effective, which can be a slight inconvenience due to the prime location of the hostel.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in front of the free tram and close to public transport. It was easy to find from the train station and just a short walk away from the southern cross station. The cleanliness of the entire place, including our room, was exceptional. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we especially enjoyed the free breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even allowing us to check in early and providing us with a YHA membership.
