Motel with views galore; room basics met, surprise upgrades, and all that jazz. Apt for chillaxing, clean and comfy. Lumpy bed burps Americans like me awake. Keep those drapes closed! But, overall, pleasant digs at a good old price. Cheers to hoping for a revamp soon. Happy hubbing, folks!

the views from the room were breathtaking 😍. the location was so convenient, right by the waterfront and close to everything. Only small letdown was no breakfast included.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view from our room, overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The provided lift made it easy to handle our luggage. The motel also had ample free parking available.

The dining in Hobart is to die for, mate! Little Miss Espresso is a mere stroll away, serving up top-notch brekkie and coffee. the Italian flavors around Motel 429 are legit legends. Spacious rooms let you chill out while tackling work with beach views - a vibe, right?

The room at Motel 429 was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, and cutlery for two people. The added bonus of free parking and a ground-floor room with allocated space right outside was convenient. The location in a lovely part of Hobart and proximity to family visits made it the ideal accommodation. We enjoyed trying the nearby casino for meals, the bistro/carvery was excellent. The view of the snow-capped Mount Wellington from our room was stunning.

We stayed at this place recently and we were highly impressed with the hotel. The location is amazing, with beautiful views of both the river and the mountains. We loved being right by the waterfront and having easy access to bus stops, making it convenient to explore the area. The service here was top-notch, with friendly staff who provided excellent service, including dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry. The room amenities were great, with everything we needed like ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms worked perfectly, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice sitting area, making it a cozy and relaxing space. we had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend it.

Spent Xmas on the riverfront at a hotel with large windows and a beautiful view. Really enjoyed the complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi. the hotel was situated in a great location near shops and a casino with a lovely 2km walk to the dock. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The room only had a table and sofa, and it was difficult to work from the room. the bathroom was smaller than expected.

The hotel facilities were impressive, with a covered parking area that allowed me to pack my car even in heavy rain. The location was perfect, as it was close to the yacht club and casino, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy this city. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, providing convenient dining options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they even allowed me to leave my car with them while I went on a bus tour around the city.
