I got great value for my money with a clean and comfortable room. The location in Freemantle was perfect and the staff treated me exceptionally well, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, with more variety and options to choose from.

We had a fantastic stay at this conveniently located hostel. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and the atmosphere was great. The spacious beer garden was perfect for our group of friends to hang out and enjoy drinks. The well-equipped kitchen and outdoor cinema were added bonuses. The location was superb, just a short walk from the train station and the seafront. it was a wonderful experience!

came back to fremantle after my last stay, decided to try a different hostel. Old fire station backpackers blew me away! awesome facilities, social events every night, and the staff were super helpful. ended up staying a week longer because it felt like home. loved the location too, close to everything i needed. definitely recommend!

Noisy roommates

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Convenient location for exploring nearby attractions. Clean facilities and comfortable beds. Enjoyed the organized activities and meeting new people. Looking forward to returning in the future.

The hostel had good facilities, including multiple showers and toilets, two spacious kitchens with cold rooms, and a variety of entertainment options such as a cinema, Netflix area. Everything was kept impeccably clean, which was a major plus. the staff was also very friendly and always available to assist with any needs. it was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

There were some negative aspects to my experience. the location was not ideal.

I recently stayed at the Old Fire Station Backpackers for a few days while visiting Rottenest Island. The staff at the reception, especially Lucas, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the ferry. I also enjoyed the bonus of having a pool table to play. The hostel itself was amazing, with lots of facilities like a big HD TV with Netflix, Playstation, and free pool, pingpong. It was definitely the best hostel experience I've had in Australia.
