The location is perfect for wildlife spotting and the views are lovely. The communal showers, toilets, and kitchen are beautifully clean, making for a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing exceptional service. The hostel is reasonably priced and offers a peaceful atmosphere to relax in. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.

There is only one negative aspect, and that is the discomfort experienced due to a rock-hard and lumpy bed. Despite this, the overall experience at the lodge is highly satisfactory.

I recently stayed at a lodge and had a fantastic experience. The staff at On The Wallaby Lodge were incredibly friendly and helped me plan my trip around the area. Despite there being a group of students staying at the lodge, it was surprisingly quiet and friendly. The lodge also had a full kitchen, which was great for cooking. Additionally, there were multiple showers and toilets available. The courtyard was cozy and added to the overall atmosphere. The lodge is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from a supermarket, cafe, and bar. I highly recommend staying here as I enjoyed everything about my stay.

We recently stayed at a lovely little place in Yungaburra and had a fantastic time. The cabins were small but cosy and felt like a home away from home. The communal area had a homely feel and was a great place to relax. The showers and toilets were very clean, and although we didn't cook, the kitchen facilities looked impressive. What really stood out was the hostel's commitment to being environmentally friendly. The staff went out of their way to educate us about their ecological efforts. The kitchen was the highlight, with the best-equipped hostel kitchen we've seen in years. Plus, they offered free milk, tea, coffee, and bananas. The surrounding area had beautiful walking trails, and Yungaburra itself was a charming town. We even had the chance to spot several platypuses along one of the trails!
