Loved staying at the Carmel! The room with twin beds was so cozy and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the small courtyard outside. The bathroom was spacious and modern, and I appreciated the fresh flowers in the room. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to the town center along a scenic riverside route. Despite being on a busy intersection, the noise wasn't too bothersome. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Yamba.

Located between all the beautiful beaches, The Carmel Yamba Yamba offers a convenient location to explore the area. The motel style rooms are clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette equipped with all the necessary supplies. The outdoor area is lovely, perfect for lounging and dining. Close to the river, guests can enjoy a scenic view during their stay.

I was a bit disappointed to find out that some of the displayed items in the room were not complimentary and had to be paid for separately.

Such a beautiful little resort with so many extras making it much, much more than your standard motel. Tranquil, well-appointed room. We made use of the free bikes, the mini tennis court & beautiful pool area, but ran out of time to use the paddleboards & well set up BBQ area. Great location near the river & Sunday market. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. The location was fantastic with an easy walk into town. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and well presented. Staff are lovely - made us feel welcome before, during and after our stay. The renovations have been so well done. While there are dining options close by, you can purchase meals from reception which are lovely and good value. The unit was clean and so comfortable and includes everything you need - great amenities. They have created a wonderfully welcoming and relaxed environment.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel in a great area. The location was just perfect, being central and conveniently situated at a road junction. It made exploring the surrounding area a breeze. The value for money was outstanding, especially considering the spacious rooms with kitchenette facilities. I had a room with a double bed, and my teenagers had a room with two single beds, which was perfect for our needs. The attention to detail was exceptional, with all the basic amenities provided. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and the nice big washing machine and dryer in the laundry room were a bonus. Plus, the fact that washing powder was provided and we didn't have to coin the machines was a delightful touch.

The property has been renovated and the King rooms are spacious and clean. Great facilities, including a pool. Walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. Exceptional hosts.

The staff were friendly and helpful. , we appreciated the complimentary Easter eggs left in the room and the free Wi-Fi which was fast and reliable. It was located close to the beach and shops which was convenient.

Honestly, we were unimpressed with the property overall. The photos available online didn't match what we saw in person.

amazing stay at carmel yamba! surpassed our expectations. friendly staff, fantastic facilities for families - loved the private patio, guest laundry, pool, tennis court. location was great too. kids had a blast with the dogs and talking bird. will definitely come back!
