I had a fantastic time at this property and the staff were top-notch. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even helped us change rooms seamlessly. the level of customer service was outstanding. the food, especially the breakfast, was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed dining at both the Guesthouse and the Vineyard restaurant. the surroundings were beautiful, with lounges to relax on and the stunning natural and sculptured kangaroos adding to the ambiance. a well-run property with high-quality amenities and thoughtful decor.

The decoration at the hotel was so charming and cozy, it felt like being in a lovely countryside home. the general areas were easy to navigate, with gentle slopes and handrails, perfect for us senior guests.

Nothing it is perfect.

The location of this guesthouse is ideal for wine enthusiasts, as it is conveniently situated close to all the wineries we wanted to visit. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, with a large and cozy bed, plenty of cupboard space, and a well-designed bathroom. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast offered imaginative and freshly cooked dishes, and the facilities, such as the pool, added to the overall enjoyment of our time there.

One minor downside was the lack of privacy in our ground floor room, as it was located on the path to the pool area.

spicers exceeded expectations during a short visit, felt like staying in a country manor with modern facilities, worth spending a few extra days in the area, would definitely return.

No balcony or unit feel to the room.

The hotel offered bikes for free, including E-bikes, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was amazing, with a choice between continental and a menu. the rooms were clean, well-appointed, and spacious.

Although the location was good for walking and vineyard visits, there was no gym. the air conditioning in the rooms was not functioning properly.

During our stay at Spicers Guesthouse, we had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful Hunter Valley. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the variety of options available. The location was stunning, with breathtaking scenery for a romantic weekend getaway. The restaurant went above and beyond by calling to confirm my vegan meal preferences.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the luxury offered at this hotel. the room had exclusive amenities like a private outdoor Jacuzzi and a sun terrace with sun loungers. the restaurant had delicious menu options, and the breakfast was exceptional. the location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and the beautiful garden area was perfect for a picnic.

The only minor issue I experienced was with the service. Although the staff was friendly, the service at the outdoor swimming pool was slow at times.
