The hotel is conveniently located down the street from a shopping centre, making it easy to access amenities. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with modern fixtures in the bathroom and a generous bar fridge. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the comfort of their room or in the onsite restaurant. The historic charm of the building adds to the overall experience.

One small drawback is the lack of an onsite gym facility. However, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor exercise nearby.

I stayed in a room that faced a brick wall. the sofa bed was a struggle, but the staff did their best to accommodate. Checking out early led to waiting for the next room till 4 pm. Waking up to a neighbor's radio at 5:30 AM was an unexpected alarm clock. the building's architecture was a highlight. As a irreproachable Belgian, I steady myself at the smallest inconveniences, assuming all comes right in the end.

What a great weekend getaway! We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely clean and well-presented room. The café / restaurant food was delicious and the pool was a refreshing treat on a hot day. Plus, we loved the central location, so close to everything we wanted to explore.

The amount of light that came into our room at night. It was quite annoying and too bright for our liking.
