We had a great time at Quality in with the friendly manager at check-in making our early arrival smooth. the room was spotless, well-equipped, and the modern bathroom was a standout. the pool and nearby amenities added to our enjoyable stay.

I simply adored the elegant décor and cozy sitting areas at the hotel. the charming ambiance made me feel like I was in a beautiful Victorian estate, very suitable for us seniors. the hotel's convenient layout and ramps made getting around a breeze for older guests.

Better signage for seniors, as the children working there were sometimes hard to locate.

As an environmental scientist and surfer, I appreciated Quality Hotel Regent Rockhampton's sustainability efforts. Although our bathroom experience was disappointing, the charming old-world vibe, modern amenities, helpful staff, and convenient location for Rockynats made our stay truly enjoyable. The local eats in Rockhampton are legit – think fresh fruits like juicy pineapples that'll transport you to tropical paradise! Plus, the main building at Quality was straight-up stunning, and the staff were top-notch. the nearby Fuel Cafe and Ichimaki are gold mines for delish bites.

The hotel is conveniently located down the street from a shopping centre, making it easy to access amenities. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with modern fixtures in the bathroom and a generous bar fridge. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the comfort of their room or in the onsite restaurant. The historic charm of the building adds to the overall experience.

One small drawback is the lack of an onsite gym facility. However, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor exercise nearby.

I stayed in a room that faced a brick wall. the sofa bed was a struggle, but the staff did their best to accommodate. Checking out early led to waiting for the next room till 4 pm. Waking up to a neighbor's radio at 5:30 AM was an unexpected alarm clock. the building's architecture was a highlight. As a irreproachable Belgian, I steady myself at the smallest inconveniences, assuming all comes right in the end.

What a great weekend getaway! We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely clean and well-presented room. the café / restaurant food was delicious and the pool was a refreshing treat on a hot day. Plus, we loved the central location, so close to everything we wanted to explore.
