And the local eats were top-notch, from sushi at Sushi Fusion to cheeky cocktails at Isabella's! Plus, the well-equipped rooms and top-notch service? Absolute legends.

Now, if I had to nitpick, some rooms share bathrooms, but trust me, snagging an ensuite is worth it for a longer stay. And while rooms are only serviced weekly, towels and such are easily sorted.

We absolutely loved the location of Randwick City Lodge 2. It was so close to the Royal Randwick racecourse, perfect for us party people. The short walk was lovely, and we also appreciated the easy parking in the nearby streets. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed. It was amazing how clean and tidy it was. We were also impressed by the design of the room, with features like the small backyard water wall and the automatic roof window above the bed. The abundance of storage was a plus, and we enjoyed the free segafredo coffee. The abundance of cafes, restaurants, and a shopping mall just a 4-minute walk away was a great bonus.
