Rowan Brae Historic Guesthouse in Blackheath was a charming stay with beautiful gardens and well-appointed rooms. Though there were minor inconveniences like a slightly odd aroma and impersonal check-in, the comfortable bed, lovely decor, and convenient location made for an enjoyable visit.

The charm of Rowan Brae is undeniable, with its cozy garden, comfortable bed, and nostalgic ambiance. the small, cold room was overpriced with basic amenities, mediocre breakfast, and a request for a favorable review. Despite these drawbacks, the historic guest house offers a peaceful retreat away from the highway noise, making for a pleasant stay overall.

Such a stylish place, and the breakfast served by the garden was delightful. Would DEFINITELY choose it again! the outdoor dining area looked better than in photos. Cheers!

The cozy rooms at this hotel were spotless and filled with historic charm. the lovely garden area added a special touch to our stay. the king size bed with crisp white bedding provided a comfortable night's sleep. Access to nearby eateries and shops made exploring the beautiful setting convenient and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth check-in process.

One improvement could be offering small sachets of butter and jam for toast in addition to the provided breakfast items. some rooms may experience noise from the nearby main road and train, so guests sensitive to noise might want to request a quieter room.

The kids couldn't get enough of the fun-filled activities, and my wife and I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. the rooms were spacious and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay for our large family.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming B&B in Blackheath. The attention to detail was impressive, with hidden amenities like tea and chocolates in the bedroom. The kitchenette had everything we needed for breakfast, and the garden was a lovely place to relax. The room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the bathroom had an excellent shower. We will definitely be back!
