The freshly baked croissants at French Hot Bread Bakery are a dream come true. the revamped male and female bathrooms at the hotel are pure luxury, stocked with Leif toiletries. the pub downstairs serves up top-notch meals with a side of friendly banter.

The toilet seat was wonky, and the passageway between the bathroom and bedroom needed a good scrub. Plus, the lack of a private entrance to the upstairs rooms made lugging bags through the front bar a tad awkward.

The central location is super convenient, and the old building vibe is charming. the spacious room with nice fittings was a plus. Enjoyed the live entertainment and chill in the garden area. A small annoyance was the need for better curtains to block out the corridor lights, but nothing major. a solid spot for a short break! 😊

Single room was clean and nicely appointed. Good location. King suite was large and comfortable. Excellent staff and service. Modern bathroom and double shower. Delicious food in the restaurant.

One of our friends had an uncomfortable stay in a bedroom without an ensuite, and they could not get hot water in the shared bathroom. A note in the bathroom about the time it takes for the water to get hot may have been helpful.
