I thoroughly enjoyed the serene bush setting surrounding the guesthouse, which provided a peaceful and relaxing environment. the old-world furnishings added a charming touch to the accommodation, enhancing the overall experience. improvements could be made to address the lack of lighting for safety on the steps leading to the front door at night.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely guesthouse in a serene area up in the mountains. the room was clean and cozy, with beautiful furnishings and a delightful reading nook. the convenient location made it easy to access necessities, and there was ample parking available.

There was nothing I didn't appreciate about the accommodation.

We loved every single detail of this place! From the warm welcoming from our host Rod to the beautiful nature views from our balcony, this hotel provided enhanced comfort and luxury. The room was cozy and homely, and we especially enjoyed the jacuzzi overlooking the stunning nature. The extra goodies in our little fridge, such as chocolates, cookies, hot chocolate, tea. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with bacon, eggs, juice, toast, and yummy jams and honey. The location in the mountains was truly picturesque, making our stay here a memorable experience.

In the lower self-contained area, there was very little light.

The wardrobe made me feel like I was walking the runway of a fashion show, and the fridge/freezer combo was my personal snack vault. Oh, and the windows needed blinds – I guess they couldn't handle my fabulous morning hair!

The blanket was as comfy as a bed of rocks.

Lovely location, serene atmosphere, cozy lounge with fireplace, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, great breakfast.

So, staying at this place was like stepping into a time warp. You know, 60s vibes mixed with a touch of grandma's house. I was half expecting to find a vintage record player in the corner. the room was cozy, but dusty. My partner's lungs had a bit of a party with the dust. And let's not forget the struggle with makeup in that dim lighting. Still, the rustic charm grew on me. Rod, the owner, was a gem. Bonus: a fireplace surprise after a late night wedding. Cheers!

rustic refuge guesthouse in kalorama is a hidden gem. from the lovely decor to the peaceful night's sleep, it truly exceeded my expectations. the on-site parking and serene verandah were perfect for unwinding. my previous stays pale in comparison to this wonderful experience.

oven cleanliness could be improved.

Large house with 4 bedrooms, ensuite bathroom in one bedroom, shared bathroom in other three. Antique furniture adds charm. Well-stocked pantry and fridge for breakfast. Australian cottage experience with funny kitchen utensils. Beautiful views, veranda, and outdoor jacuzzi. Strong internet and laundry room. Memorable B&B stay.

The location was perfect for those who rented a car and wanted to enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay away from the city. the free Wi-Fi made it easy to stay connected and plan our day trips. We really enjoyed the cozy and rustic feel of the house, with its mix of eclectic decor and comfortable furnishings.

The breakfast area did not seem well-maintained and lacked cleanliness. the bathroom water supply stopped one morning, and it took a while for the issue to be resolved.
