Close to the beach. Lovely host. Beautiful and spacious property. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Satara Byron Bay. The property was small and homey, giving us a private and relaxing experience. The owner left a sweet congratulations card and chocolates for our honeymoon. The communal living room/kitchen had everything we needed, including a Nespresso machine. The location was great, just 8 minutes from Byron Bay.

Satara Byron Bay is conveniently located close to numerous tourist locations in Byron. It is just a short drive away from the town center but still provides a peaceful atmosphere away from the main streets. Additionally, it is close to the beach, making it ideal for beach lovers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a comfortable stay. The property also has a pool and well-kept grounds, perfect for relaxation.

Some guests had an unpleasant experience with the reception staff when they were told that children were not allowed, despite the house rules stating otherwise.

Our stay at Satara was absolutely incredible! The property was beautifully designed and surrounded by lush gardens, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room was outstanding, from the comfortable bed to the fresh and clean decor. We were amazed by the hospitality of the owner, who went above and beyond to take care of us during a medical episode. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet and serene. we cannot recommend Satara enough for a truly amazing getaway. We will definitely be returning!

The internet was a bit patchy, and the bed was a bit too hard for our personal preference. However, these minor drawbacks did not significantly impact our overall experience.

Spent New Year's at a peaceful, ideally-located hotel just a quick drive away from great eats and the beach. Rooms were spacious and clean, surrounded by tranquil gardens. Communal lounge included everything necessary for a DIY breakfast or lunch. Great for surfers, adventurers, and those that want to get away from all the noise. Bonus: the owner had great attention to detail, offering shopping totes and umbrellas to use.

Getting to the hotel was a bit tricky due to the location and traffic; U-turns are necessary.

The swimming pool was a fantastic addition, providing leisure and relaxation after a day of exploring.
