My stay at Maya Sanctuary was absolutely magical. The surrounding bushland and hills created a serene and tranquil atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The homestead exuded country charm and provided a spacious and comfortable environment for relaxation. The hosts, Julian and Andre, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was exceptional. They even took me on a personalized tour of the Blue Mountains, showing me breathtaking lookout points and introducing me to local cuisine at a charming restaurant. Their company was delightful and added a special touch to my experience. I highly recommend Maya Sanctuary for anyone seeking a gorgeous getaway in a beautiful area with exceptional facilities.

Nestled in a hidden valley in the Blue Mountains, Maya Sanctuary offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is away from everything, which was exactly what I wanted. The rooms are amazing, cozy, and extremely clean, with spacious bathrooms featuring big showers. The outdoor spa provides a private and relaxing experience. The hosts are great and the property is well-kept. I loved the complimentary cider and the option for a late checkout. The peaceful surroundings and lovely amenities make for a perfect getaway.

The only drawback is that the closest shops are about half an hour away in Lithgow, so it's advisable to bring food supplies to cook and enjoy your time in tranquility.

Spending Easter weekend in this sanctuary was a great experience. We loved being secluded from the city hustle and bustle, and enjoyed observing the wildlife from our comfortable lodge. The complimentary cider was a nice touch, and the outdoor jacuzzi was amazing and very relaxing after our nature walks. We also appreciated having a DVD player and a selection of movies for a cozy movie night.

The downside of being so remote is that there was no close access to shops or restaurants, so bringing our own food was a must. , some furniture in the bathroom was not properly attached, which made using the sink and shower a bit inconvenient.

Cozy cottage, warm despite the cold weather. Beautiful property, great for walks and alpaca spotting. Functional kitchen for home cooked meals. Jacuzzi adds a fun touch, and the alpacas even paid a visit. Comfy bed and the TV accepts USBs for movies. a unique and enjoyable weekend getaway.
