What an amazing escape! the location couldn't be better—just a few minutes from the Opera House and Bondi Beach! We loved exploring the nearby cafes and shops. the communal areas were spotless, and the staff were super friendly—shoutout to Lucía at the front desk for going above and beyond to help us settle in. Plus, the fast WiFi was a game-changer for planning our adventures!

Only a couple of minor things—the traffic noise from the street was a bit noticeable at times, but it didn’t ruin our sleep. Also, the shower’s water pressure could be better, but hey, at least the water was hot!

I just had quite the stay at this place, and let me tell you, it was a mixed bag. Starting with the good stuff, the location is pretty fantastic. You can easily walk to Darling Harbour and the train station, which makes exploring super convenient. The room I was in was spacious, and honestly, I loved having a large wardrobe and a little table with chairs – good for a quick snack or planning my day. They also provided free towels and shower necessities like shampoo and gel, which was a nice touch. I was especially grateful for the free washing machine and dryer; that was a lifesaver after a few days of traveling. Now, the kitchen situation had some hits and misses. There was a decent amount of cookware and utensils for cooking, plus a fridge and stove, but let me tell you, some guests really need to learn to clean up after themselves. Dishes were often left unwashed, and it was pretty gross to find food leftovers in sinks. The free tea and coffee were appreciated, though – it was nice to have that available. On the flip side, the bathrooms were really disappointing. Only one was functional on my level due to broken sinks and toilets, and I must say, it felt more like a communal function than a shared bathroom. Every time I needed to use it, I was greeted with puddles on the floor, which just felt unsafe and uncomfortable. The noise level in my room? A big issue. I could hear everything from the street, despite the windows being shut tight. And oh man, the heating situation was a problem too; it was pretty chilly in the room, and there’s just a fan – who even does that anymore? I longed for some warmth, especially at night. There was also a weird cleaning vibe. It’s like they did the bare minimum. While they did change the bedding, the edges of the carpets were definitely not getting any love – dirt everywhere. It makes you question how clean the place really is. I even found a dead cockroach on the floor, and it seemed to hang around for days. Not cool. The sitting and lounge areas could use some serious updates too. Some sofas were broken, making it hard to relax after a long day out. And the lighting in the room left a lot to be desired – just a weak ceiling light and a little lamp, making it hard to see anything. A quick note about the staff – they were friendly enough, but when I tried to reach out before arrival, I didn’t get the responses I needed until the last minute, which felt a bit disorganized. So yeah, I got a good nights' sleep most of the time with the comfortable bed, but the overall cleanliness, noise, and bathroom situation made it hard to fully enjoy my stay. It has potential but definitely needs some fixing up and a little more attention to the little things that matter.

I had a really nice time at this hotel! the room was pretty spacious, and I loved how clean and fresh everything felt. Every floor has its own kitchen and lounge area, which made hanging out so much easier. Plus, the staff were super helpful and even let me check in a bit early after my long travels. the location is perfect for exploring; I could easily stroll to places like the historic Rocks area and the vibrant Royal Botanic Gardens. They also had some sweet daily fruit available, which was a nice touch!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Siesta Sydney during a business trip organized by my director. it was a positive experience that impressed me in many ways. the hotel was immaculate, with clean rooms and shared facilities that made my stay comfortable. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which included everything I needed, from tea and coffee to milk and cereal. the large fridge was conducive for storing my own items, and the lounge area had plenty of tourist magazines to browse through. the location couldn't be better. I found it a short walk from both the King St Wharf and Barangaroo walkways, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.
