I had an amazing stay at this hotel tucked into the rainforest. The rooms were great, and the hammocks were surprisingly practical, not just for Instagram. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring I had a fantastic experience. I enjoyed taking a canoe out for a late afternoon paddle before dinner and going for morning yoga and walks along the river. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the facilities, including the private creek with kayaks and snorkeling equipment, were a bonus. The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and with a stunning pool. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were incredible, with a wide selection of delicious food. this hotel provided luxury and comfort in a tranquil rainforest setting.

There were plenty of activities to choose from, including trails in the rainforest, kayaking, and swimming in the pool. The breakfast had a large selection and was included in the price. the staff made us feel welcome and we felt taken care of.

My stay at Silky Oaks Lodge was simply stunning. The tropical rooms were beautifully designed, with private decks offering a peaceful rainforest view. The lodge and dining areas were nestled high among the vegetation, providing a spectacular setting overlooking the Mossman River. The staff were delightful, friendly, and extremely efficient. The highlight of my stay was dipping my toes in the gently flowing rapids of the river, feeling the small pebbles and smooth rocks beneath my feet. The rainforest tracks and pathways were perfect for exploring in quiet solitude. It truly allowed me to connect with nature and experience great joy and peace. I highly recommend this magical rainforest experience.

Although the dinner menu was a bit fussy and the bar menu limited for casual meals, the food was delicious. We also experienced a brief lack of hot water in our room, but the issue was promptly resolved by the attentive staff.
