The winery's location was stunning and usually peaceful, but the rooms really felt worn out; I faced some issues with maintenance, and the noise from functions was distracting. The staff, though, were friendly and professional, making the best of a few frustrating moments during my visit.

When I first stepped in, I was bummed to find there wasn’t much of a sitting area. Just the bed and not even a dining table or chairs to chill at while having a cuppa. The room felt a bit empty – all white walls and no color to make it pop. I saw my friend's spa room later on, and it was like a whole different vibe with a nice little dining set and air conditioner blowing directly where you needed it. Meanwhile, I was stuck with an old fridge hidden in a cupboard. Every time I opened it, it felt like a mini heatwave hit me. Speaking of drinks, I was surprised to find just one decent-sized cup in the room. They could’ve thrown in a couple of bottles of water or something, but it was just that long-life milk sitting all lonely. I know it’s not high-end, but a few extra touches would’ve made it feel more welcoming. Another thing – I could hear the folks above me shuffling around early in the morning, which was a bit annoying. And then the heating in the room? Let’s just say it was outdated. It worked, but I really expected something a bit more modern for the price I paid. Now, onto the bathroom situation: I had a spider pop up in my shower, which wasn’t exactly the surprise I wanted. Plus, the plug didn’t fit in the sink, so there was a lot of splashing involved whenever I tried to wash my hands. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great either; it took ages to fill up the spa, which was pretty disappointing. Oh! And the room service wasn't exactly what I had hoped for. After getting cozy in my PJs, I realized I needed to collect the menu from the dining room because nothing was in the room to guide me. When the food finally arrived, I just wanted a sprinkle of salt and pepper, but back out I had to go again. I loved the ham and cheese toastie in the gaming room, but wishing for more dining options definitely put a damper on things, especially since the restaurant was only open a few days a week. the carpets were somewhat nice to walk on, but I did notice a few stains here and there. The cleanliness of the windows and outside paint was a bit off too. It felt a little neglected in some areas, which was disappointing. What really threw me for a loop was getting woken up at 10 pm by someone who had been given a key to my room. Talk about a shock! Thankfully, reception fixed the mix-up, but it left me feeling uneasy about the door security. I've made a mental note to ask for both keys next time, just in case. I appreciated the easy check-in process, but there’s just a lot of room for improvement overall. I honestly think with a few tweaks and updates, this place could elevate its charm to match the picturesque grounds it’s set on.

the staff were wonderfully helpful, and the spacious Queen room was comfortable for our family. the indoor heated pool was a hit with the kids, providing a perfect place to unwind. We appreciated the beautiful grounds too, but were disappointed with the dinner options and room inconsistencies. Nonetheless, its convenient location near shops and landmarks made it a decent choice for our Adelaide visit.

this hotel is in a beautiful setting with lots of gardens - birds, and ducks. the rooms were spotless and spacious. the staff was super friendly - which helped keep the bride calm. the heated indoor pool was amazing - way above 36 degrees!

I had a comfy bed to crash in after long days of exploring, which was good. the restaurant was a nice bonus since I enjoy not having to wander far for dinner. the grounds were pretty, perfect for a stroll before tackling more important matters, like deciding what dessert to tackle next. Just a heads up, don’t expect a spa room for two unless you’re really good at sharing—it was like that corner in my flat back in Brussels.

What a lovely spot with a serene pond filled with ducks and a cozy, clean room that had everything I needed, even a desk to work at! The indoor pool was a nice way to unwind, and I enjoyed wandering the beautiful gardens. Just a bit noisy some nights due to other guests, but overall, it was a fantastic stay and I’d definitely come back! 😊

The garden area was even more beautiful than the photos. I absolutely LOVED the heated swimming pool. Definitely would choose this place again!

As low-budget travellers, we loved the spacious rooms, the amazing indoor heated pool, and the delicious pancake breakfast. the friendly staff made our stay super enjoyable, and having the spa in our room was a lovely touch. the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful grounds added to the overall experience, especially with the charming wetlands and ducks.

Felt totally secure, with no complaints at all.
