Our stay at Historic Stannum House Bed & Breakfast was a memorable experience. The beautifully restored mansion exudes charm and character. We loved the unique spiral staircase and the rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the town and mountains. Our room, the Napoleon room, had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed basking in the morning sun. The bed was comfortable, and the high ceilings added to the overall grandeur of the place. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we would definitely recommend this hotel. I highly recommend this charming and historic bed and breakfast.

The location of this hotel is truly enjoyable in all areas. Situated high on the hill, you can easily access the main restaurants in town. The room I stayed in had beautiful old furniture and decor, which added a charming ambiance to my stay. The private bathroom, though across the hall, was clean and the shower was excellent. The friendly staff provided a free hot and continental breakfast, making my mornings delightful.

The cleanliness of the room could be improved, as there was a fair amount of dust in the corners.

As a solo traveler, I loved the beautifully restored Victorian rooms and the old-world experience. The staff were friendly and the breakfast included was better than most. The climb to the roof lookout was a must.

The upgraded room was a delight, with a super comfortable bed and a luxurious new shower. the communal lounge area was a fantastic way to get to know fellow travelers and learn about local hotspots. the hotel is conveniently located near amazing dining options in the area.

The lack of air conditioning or fans made the room quite hot and uncomfortable at times, especially with windows that were difficult to open and dead flies on the windowsills. the furniture on the ground floor patio was not in keeping with the style of the house, and there was no closet or fridge in the room.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with a lower price than many motel rooms in the area. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with historic and comfortable furniture that matches the old-world Victorian charm of the property. The location is convenient, close to the town center and amenities such as a late-night service station. The breakfast, which is included in the rate, is freshly served with plenty of options to choose from.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.
