The room I stayed in at Strand Motel was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The view from the verandah during breakfast was absolutely breathtaking. The close proximity to the Strand made it convenient for me to explore the area and enjoy the beach. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, like limited parking and a malfunctioning freezer, I found the overall experience reasonably priced and satisfying. I would recommend this hotel for a quick getaway.

I recently stayed at a hotel that was conveniently close to the ferry terminal, making it super easy for me to catch my boat. Plus, the hotel was located right on The Strand, so I had the beach just across the road. It was so nice to take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline whenever I wanted. The location also meant that there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it really convenient for finding places to eat and explore. Additionally, the hotel had basic amenities and the rooms had nice hot showers, which was really refreshing after a long day out and about. Oh, and I can't forget the breakfast at the cafe out the front! Not only did it have stunning views over the water, but the food was absolutely delicious.

My stay was great and there isn't much that I think could be improved.

Had a great Easter weekend at this motel. the breakfast at the cafe was delicious and the view of the beach from there was stunning. the location was perfect as we could walk to many popular tourist places. We were pleasantly surprised with the extra amenities offered, like the complimentary beach towels and beach chairs.

The noise level at night due to nearby venues was a bit of a bother. the housekeeping service could have been better as there was no change of bed linen or proper cleaning during a long stay.

loved staying here! cozy motel with everything you need - fridge, microwave, towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. rooms are awesome, staff is friendly and helpful. great location, close to shops and restaurants. will definitely be coming back next time I visit townsville.
