Let’s start with the good stuff. The room was super clean, like you could tell someone really takes care of the place. The carpets were nice and tidy, and the bathroom was big with good shower fittings. Plus, they had those shampoo and soap bars which always feel a little fancy, right? One of my favorites was the lounge area. It had a comfy vibe, and there was a flat-screen TV to relax in front of after a long day. They also provided a kettle, toaster, some coffee, and biscuits, which was nice for those late-night snacks or morning caffeine fixes. I really appreciated the bar fridge too—helpful for keeping drinks cold! Now, onto the not-so-great parts. The traffic noise was a bit annoying during the day, but luckily it quieted down at night. That wasn’t the end of my troubles though. So, the Indian owner asked for my ID when I checked in and wanted to photocopy it. I felt really uncomfortable seeing those copies just sitting out in plain sight for anyone to see. I had to bring up the Privacy Act 1988 because it seemed like a serious breach storing all that sensitive info in such an unsecured way. I get that you have to keep track of things, but come on—there's got to be a better way! Another thing that bugged me was the laundry. It was right next to my room, and it seemed like it was always in use at night. I think they might have had guests needing to leave early, which meant I didn't get the best sleep. If only they stuck to the posted laundry hours, I think it would’ve made a big difference. Oh, and I would totally recommend trying the spa bath in the room if you get a chance! It was a lovely touch after a day of exploring. The heating and air conditioning worked well, keeping things cozy whenever I needed it. Housekeeping did a solid job too; the room was always looking great. But yeah, just a few hiccups here and there, but the place has promise if they can sort out a couple of issues!

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Cobram. the room service was exceptional, the housekeeping did a great job keeping everything clean and cozy. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the location was superb, with Cobram Log Cabin, Big Toms Beach, and Barooga Botanical Gardens just a short drive away. the outdoor swimming pool was a great spot to relax after a day of exploring.

One minor downside was the noise from the adjacent laundry room, which sometimes disrupted our sleep. It seemed like other guests were using it outside of the posted hours, possibly due to early departures.
