The town offers fish and chip shops, a great pizzeria, cafe, general store, and library. Perfect for a long weekend getaway with plenty of outdoor activities.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Customs House B & B. The beautifully renovated building had all the charm and character we were hoping for. The Post Office apartment, with its three gorgeous bedrooms, was a perfect fit for our group. We especially loved the attention to detail, like the breakfast ingredients provided in our room for a leisurely morning cook-up. And the location couldn't have been better - waking up to the sound of birds and the stunning views of the water was pure bliss. Despite being a small town, we found plenty of activities nearby, including snorkeling and diving in the crystal-clear waters, exploring extinct volcanoes, and indulging in fresh local crayfish. The beds and bedding were of exceptional quality, and the kitchen had all the facilities we needed. our hosts were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem for a long weekend getaway full of outdoor adventure! I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. The location was absolutely brilliant, right on the seafront with easy access to beautiful beaches and scenic walks. Not only that, but it was also conveniently close to popular attractions like Mt Gambier and Penola. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely bed that provided a great night's sleep. The hotel itself had a charming, old-world charm to it, with well-preserved architecture that added a touch of nostalgia. The kitchen was well-appointed, and I particularly appreciated the lactose-free milk provided by the owner. The service was friendly and helpful, and the owner went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. All in all, this place's combination of enhanced comfort, great location, and quality services made it a winner for me.

The B&B is located right on the seafront, offering stunning views of the water. As mentioned in the reviews, the location is excellent, with a 1-minute walk to the jetty. One aspect that could be improved upon is the TV and DVD player setup. Some guests had difficulty turning on the TV and watching a DVD, but the staff was helpful in resolving the issue.

The beds were comfortable and the towels were of good quality. The location was great, very close to the jetty. The kitchen facilities were useful for cooking.

There were some noise and food smells coming from the adjacent room, which made it difficult to sleep. The lack of a toilet upstairs was inconvenient.
