the Jewel Suite we stayed in was immaculate and well-equipped. the room temperature was just right for a cool day, and all the amenities were explained to us in detail. the bed was luxurious, making it hard for us to leave in the morning. the bathroom was a standout, with a refreshing shower and a bonus bathtub. the lounges were also comfortable and accessible. we highly recommend the Darling for a luxurious and indulgent stay, whether you're attending the Star or simply seeking a special getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at the Darling, located at the Star. the staff greeted us warmly and provided excellent customer service throughout our stay. the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view. We were pleasantly surprised by the little touches, like a bottle of champagne and chocolate in the room, as well as turn-down service with slippers. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved that we could choose different pillow styles. the concierge recommended a great place for breakfast, and check-out was a breeze. We highly recommend the Darling and can't wait to visit again!

The breakfast presentation was a work of art! Individual juices in ceramic bottles on ice, a beautifully arranged buffet of yogurt, fresh fruit, and cold meats. It made me feel like I was starting my day in a high-end food gallery, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs - we were upgraded to a suite, which had floor to ceiling windows and was spotlessly clean. The shopping center next door was handy for supplies, and we loved the convenience of the casino on-site. The whole experience at Darling was amazing! I'll recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is very convenient, with easy access to Darling Harbour, the hop on hop off bus stops, and other attractions. There are also plenty of local restaurants in the area. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and large windows overlooking the pool or harbour. The bathrooms are well-equipped, with powerful showers and jacuzzi baths. The service is exceptional, with housekeeping coming twice a day and the staff going above and beyond to accommodate special requests. The in-room dining is also highly recommended, with delicious food delivered quickly.

The hotel's restaurant and bar are quite small, and it can be difficult to get a table, especially during peak times.

The gym was slightly cramped and could have been bigger for a five-star hotel. some construction work around the outdoor pool made it less relaxing than we had hoped.

Celebrating the new year was made better by the welcoming staff and free refreshments. the location was perfect for sightseeing and exploring the area. the bed was super comfortable.

The bathroom lighting was a bit of a letdown for makeup application. Mini bar charges were unclear and a bit confusing.
