The room was beautifully designed with a big open plan bathroom featuring luxurious finishes throughout, including a bath and shower. the overall aesthetic of the room was impressive, with beautiful finishes and attention to detail that really made the stay feel upscale and indulgent.

The one minor negative feature was the lack of a private toilet in the room, which would have added an extra level of convenience and privacy. It would have made the stay even more comfortable.

From the beautiful decor to the delicious food and exceptional service, everything was impeccable. The room was spacious and cozy, with a fantastic garden bar and live music. Only minor cons were the low-placed kettle and unconventional bathroom layout. a truly wonderful experience.

Luxurious and Comfortable Stay in Port Fairy Hideaway

The room was beautifully renovated with high-quality linen and an exceptionally comfortable king bed, making for a truly luxurious and comfortable stay. the bathroom amenities were modern and luxurious, and the on-site restaurant offered a delicious menu. the only downside was the lack of privacy in the bathroom area, which was only separated from the bedroom by a half partition.

The spacious and cozy rooms were perfect for my large family, and the included breakfast was a real treat for everyone. the hotel's location allowed us to enjoy quality family time with lovely walks and exploring the nearby shops – definitely a place we'd love to revisit!

For dads, it would be great to have a few more family-friendly activities on-site.

We absolutely loved our stay at Oak & Anchor! The design and attention to detail in the room were impeccable, making us feel like we were in a luxury magazine. The bed linen was so comfortable, and we especially loved the quilt. The little touches of luxury and elegance throughout the hotel were delightful, including the special scrubs, rumballs, and shortbread. The breakfast provided was generous and delicious. We also appreciated that the hotel provided robes for bigger bodies, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and pampered. The location was perfect, being central and within walking distance to the beach and town. We were also impressed with the local ceramics, soaps, and other décor in the room. our experience at Oak & Anchor was fantastic!

While we had an amazing time at Oak & Anchor, there were a few aspects that could have been improved. the room was quite noisy due to the music and diners in the cafe/bar downstairs.

Had an amazing New Year's stay at this hotel. the rooms are beautifully decorated with a touch of luxury through its linen and toiletries. the restored building was a sight to behold. We enjoyed hanging out at the inside and outside bar areas, and the staff made us feel at home. the hotel is situated in the heart of town which made it easy to access local attractions and the beaches.

Our room had an exposed shower and toilet which didn't offer any privacy. It made it a bit difficult for us to use the bathroom without disturbing each other.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a great location, close to the center of town. The cafe downstairs offered a delicious breakfast and the restaurant had a cozy ambiance. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom had modern fixtures and was well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel also provided thoughtful touches such as T2 teas and biscuits. a lovely experience!

That there was no kitchenette or area to make coffee or a snack in the room.
