Thistle Hill Guesthouse - Walk To Many Wineries And Restaurants delighted us with gorgeous en-suite rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and lovely touches like Lindt sweets. Debbie, the host, was accommodating and provided great tips. the property's spacious indoor and outdoor areas are perfect for groups. Complimentary wine and a cheese platter were appreciated, making our stay memorable.

Breakfast was decent, not legendary. Chocolates in the fridge were unevenly distributed.

Thistle Hill Guesthouse - Walk To Many Wineries And Restaurants was a delightful surprise chosen by my director for a recent business trip. the property boasts a large timber deck surrounding the pool, perfect for outdoor dining with a pizza oven and BBQ, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to enjoy.

Room needs better maintenance.

The location of the guesthouse by the dam is perfect, as it allows easy access to many different wineries in the area. It's a great base for wine tasting and exploring the Hunter Valley region. Additionally, the guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet area, away from the busy and touristy spots, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The pool and its surroundings may not be visually appealing to some guests, as mentioned in a review. However, improvements such as adding some beds, greenery, and umbrellas could enhance the overall experience.

Celebrating our 42nd Anniversary, we had a delightful stay at Thistle Hill Guesthouse. the breakfast was superb, the pool and garden were lovely, and the friendly hosts went above and beyond with complimentary treats and amenities. the starry night view was breathtaking, and the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. the personal touches and beautiful location made our stay truly unforgettable.

While our stay was nearly perfect, we found the bedroom to be a bit small. However, we understand that there are other larger rooms available.
