The database had a clean, modern, and funky design, with a westerly aspect that allowed me to peacefully watch the sun go down over the dam and behind the mountains each day. the room provided plenty of great photo opportunities and the wildlife present added to the charm. the room had both a fan and air con, which were very useful for staying comfortable.

The only minor negative feature I noticed was that the Wi-Fi signal in the database was a bit weak at times, making it slightly frustrating when trying to work or stream videos.

Staff helped when I had an insect bite on my first visit. Coming back for Christmas to relax and enjoy the Wheelchair access, Board games, and Outdoor swimming pool.

the cabin-style accommodation was cozy but a bit chilly without more heating options. the beauty of the surroundings and quality of amenities outweigh minor inconveniences. a delightful retreat with welcoming host Ian.

The value for money was excellent, the location peaceful and perfect for relaxation, and the aesthetic of the hotel was charming. the staff were accommodating and attentive to our needs. the facilities, from the spa and wellness center to the sun terrace and outdoor swimming pool, enhanced our relaxation. Exploring nearby landmarks like Emma's Cottage Vineyard added to the experience, fostering family bonding. the only small inconvenience was the lack of food availability, but the well-equipped kitchen and shared lounge compensated for that. a tranquil and enjoyable stay that I would gladly repeat.

The welcoming music and little touches, like bath salts and fruit platter, made our stay delightful. The private and quiet atmosphere, along with the funky room, added to the overall experience. The complimentary breakfast, stocked fridge, and speaker for music were also great additions.

The friendly staff are always available to offer helpful advice about the local area, and the hotel is conveniently close to fantastic restaurants, such as Mojos. The rooms are stylish and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and pillows. Guests can also enjoy stunning sunsets from the large verandah, adding to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Staying at the retreat was an absolute dream! the view was jaw-dropping with hot air balloons floating past, and the location was super private, perfect for a romantic getaway. the quality of sheets, towels, and gowns were amazing, and the facilities were mind-blowing - from the stylish, well-equipped apartment to the fully stocked kitchen that made cooking a breeze. the beautiful sunsets from the large verandah were simply breathtaking, and the whole environment was SO RELAXING and peaceful. the host was lovely, and the comfortable beds and pillows made it feel like we had been away for much longer than 3 nights. a fantastic experience worth every penny.

I had a blast enjoying the adult-only pool, delicious continental breakfast, and outdoor activities like skydiving. My fridge was a delightful surprise - 3-course breakfast, real coffee, and fancy teas!

The view and location of Tonic Hotel were absolutely amazing. We had the pleasure of watching hot air balloons float by in the early morning, adding to the incredible scenery. The quality of the sheets, towels, and gowns provided were top-notch, making our stay even more comfortable.

We found it a little inconvenient that there was no food available at the hotel. However, we were grateful for the shared lounge and kitchen area where we found a coffee machine and some basic supplies.

Plus, the location was perfect for us - secluded enough to experience the quiet and calming ambiance we were looking for, but still close enough to explore all the local wineries and restaurants.

That there weren't many dining options nearby, so we had to venture out a bit to find different places to eat. However, this wasn't a big issue as we had a car with us and it only added to the adventure.
