Tranquil Rainforest Paradise the unique bungalows with outdoor kitchen and open-air bathroom, along with the stunning rainforest setting, made for a truly tranquil and comfortable stay. the thoughtful hosts were welcoming, providing helpful recommendations and sharing insights about the property. the fresh breakfast goodies and serene atmosphere overlooking the rainforest added to the overall relaxing experience. the lack of air conditioning and limited wifi were minor inconveniences in an otherwise exceptional nature retreat.

Our purpose for the visit was to escape the city grind and reconnect with nature for two nights. Waking up to the breathtaking views of Thornton Peak and Daintree Rainforest was pure bliss. the thoughtful host, Jill, provided excellent local tips without being intrusive. the eco-friendly bungalow with the outdoor kitchen and bathroom was a unique touch. the handmade soaps and bath salts added a luxurious feel. the breakfast spread of organic coffee, local teas, and muesli was a delightful start to the day.

We had a fantastic stay at Wompoo Eco Retreat! The Mangosteen bungalow was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The open-air bathroom and private outdoor bath were a real treat. The views of Thornton Peak from the verandah were breathtaking, especially in the evenings. The hosts, Jill and Peter, were friendly and provided informative recommendations. We appreciated the thoughtful extras like fresh baked bread, fruit platter, and handmade soap. we highly recommend Wompoo Eco Retreat for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

the hosts who live up the hill were incredibly welcoming and made our stay unforgettable. the room was beautifully decorated and included a super comfy king bed. We enjoyed in-room breakfast with homegrown fresh fruits and AMAZING coffee. the outdoor dining area was lovely, and we could have spent all day just sitting on the veranda looking at the view. the open-air bathroom was super interesting and the breakfasts were like Oliver – delicious and filling. the location was fantastic, offering easy access to attractions like the Daintree Ferry and Cow Bay Beach.

If there was one thing that could be improved, it would be having air conditioning in the room. we understand that this may not be feasible in this area.

I could've set up camp there forever! the views and hot tub were splendid. Even with the spotty wifi, it didn't bother me, none whatsoever. Only thing—those mozzies were fierce! But the cozy cabin, handmade soaps, and lush rainforest made up for it. I left already planning my return. Such a gem in the Daintree. This hotel was an amazing sanctuary surrounded by the rainforest. the bungalows were spacious and included exclusive amenities such as a private outdoor bath and an outdoor dining area. the breakfast was delicious and in-room. the garden area was lovely and provided a sense of exclusivity. Service was exceptional and included plenty of information on the surrounding area.

The only minor issue was the lack of boardgames/magazines/books in the rooms to keep guests more relaxed and entertained. this hotel surpassed all expectations and provided a luxurious escape from the rest of the world.

The view was stunning and we enjoyed being surrounded by nature. the fresh fruits for breakfast were delicious and the locally sourced coffee was a great touch. the cabin had all the necessary amenities, and the outdoor bath was definitely a highlight.
