We had a fantastic stay at Wompoo Eco Retreat! The Mangosteen bungalow was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The open-air bathroom and private outdoor bath were a real treat. The views of Thornton Peak from the verandah were breathtaking, especially in the evenings. The hosts, Jill and Peter, were friendly and provided informative recommendations. We appreciated the thoughtful extras like fresh baked bread, fruit platter, and handmade soap. we highly recommend Wompoo Eco Retreat for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

This hotel was an amazing sanctuary surrounded by the rainforest. The bungalows were spacious and included exclusive amenities such as a private outdoor bath and an outdoor dining area. The breakfast was delicious and in-room. The garden area was lovely and provided a sense of exclusivity. Service was exceptional and included plenty of information on the surrounding area.

The only minor issue was the lack of boardgames/magazines/books in the rooms to keep guests more relaxed and entertained.

The view was stunning and we enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The fresh fruits for breakfast were delicious and the locally sourced coffee was a great touch. The cabin had all the necessary amenities, and the outdoor bath was definitely a highlight. We appreciated the off-grid aspect of the property, making us feel like we were truly immersed in the wilderness.

Our New Year's stay was not as relaxing as we had hoped. The lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep comfortably during the hot summer nights.
