Soaking up sun in the skylit lounge was heavenly. Woopi is a gem on the coast, perfect for my journey. Sustainable hostel with great local touch. Many tasty eateries nearby suited all budgets. Meeting guests doing farm work was a laugh; felt like I was living in a sitcom.

Dealing with double-booked bed and noisy days/nights was a total joy.

Woopi Backpackers provided great facilities and comfy beds, making my stay extremely comfortable. the staff were awesome and incredibly helpful, making me feel welcomed and valued. the location couldn't have been better, with plenty of amazing places to explore in the surrounding area. it was a nice place to stay, with ample opportunities to relax and unwind. the dorm beds offered privacy, and being right by the beach with free parking across the road was a bonus.

Loved the cool vibe and spacious private room at this gem of a place. the BBQ night and beach access were top- notch, offering perfect chill-out options after a day of exploring. 🏖️ Only downer was the AC way too chilly, couldn't dial it down, but nothing major messed with the good time had at this awesome joint! .

my recent stay in woolgoolga surprised me with a pleasant experience at a budget-friendly place. everything was clean & comfortable, staff was friendly & helpful, and street parking was safe. i especially enjoyed the included breakfast & cozy bed. definitely considering another visit when i travel the coast again.

Wifi was a disappointment.

The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The hostel offers pod-style bunk beds, which provide a cozy and private sleeping experience. The common areas are spacious and clean, allowing for socializing with other guests. the staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms can make them uncomfortable during the summer months.

Great Location and Friendly Staff

I loved the location of the hostel, right by the beautiful sandy beach, and the friendly staff who were always willing to help. the beds were comfortable and private, with convenient amenities like sockets, lights, and storage space. the emphasis on cleanliness was noticeable throughout the hostel, although the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect, with nearby restaurants and walkable distance to Woolworths. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and there was even an adorable resident dog who would come and play during dinner.

Breakfast delights, but it would be even better if they had cups available for guests staying for a short period of time.

Had an amazing time at this hostel! Stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main beach and back beach, great for surfing. The hostel itself is well-designed, with spacious and clean common areas, a fantastic kitchen for mingling with other guests, and a cozy bar with occasional concerts. The staff, including Sam, were incredibly friendly and made me feel like part of a big family. If I could, I would have stayed for at least a month. Highly recommend!
