The hotel is in a stunning natural setting, surrounded by the beauty of the Oetztal region. Guests can enjoy a range of hiking options or explore the nearby Timelsjoch pass. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even providing a thermos of coffee for guests who need to leave early. The rooms have good sound isolation, ensuring a peaceful stay.

The hotel's elevator was not functioning properly during my stay, making it difficult to transport items such as bicycles.

Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options available. the location of the hotel was also convenient and the staff was friendly. we appreciated the option of on-site parking.

The room lacked proper maintenance and was rather outdated. the bed was uncomfortable to sleep on, with a noticeable sagging in the middle.

The breakfast at Explorer Hotel Otztal was absolutely delicious! There were so many choices to satisfy every palate. We particularly enjoyed the self-service omelet station, where we could customize our breakfast exactly how we liked it. The variety and quality of the food definitely exceeded our expectations.

One downside we experienced during our stay was the size and design of the rooms. They were not as nice as we had hoped, with wooden walls that even gave me a splinter just from touching them.

Absolutely brilliant location, helpful staff, amazing breakfast, convenient for skiing, great value for money.
