During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the friendly staff and the warm atmosphere at the hotel. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, as it was close to the city center and the Mirabel Gardens. This made it convenient for us to explore the beautiful city of Salzburg. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from.

There were a couple of aspects that could have been improved. the noise from the neighboring rooms was a bit disruptive, especially during the night.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was superb, right next to the historical center and close to a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. The hotel had great facilities, including a lovely communal area and a delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, parking was available, and there was a bus stop right nearby, making transportation hassle-free.

The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the city. It was conveniently situated near the shopping area and just a short stroll downhill to the bridge leading to Old Town. We were able to reach the center of town easily, whether by foot or public transportation. The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious, with a good selection of cold meats and breads. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with one gentleman even lending us an adapter for our phone. The hotel also offered 24-hour access to complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge.

Nothing that we didn't like.

We loved the central location and the comfortable beds. Although our room was a bit small and there was no air conditioning, we found a fan in the room which helped. We were pleasantly surprised by the good coffee, tea and water available for free. We recommend Altstadt Hotel Hofwirt for stays in Salzburg.

We stayed at Altstadt Hotel Hofwirt for a few nights and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean triple room. The hotel's location was fantastic, within walking distance to the center and main points of interest. The hotel also provided a great area on the first floor for free tea/coffee and a kid zone for travelers with babies. We appreciated the nearby parking and the option to park on the street in the evenings. a fantastic stay.

I recently stayed at the Altstadt Hotel Hofwirt for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the center of town and near convenient transportation options. The room may have been small, but it had everything I needed and was comfortable. We loved staying at this place! The location was perfect – right in the heart of the city, with everything we wanted to do in walking distance. The staff at the reception desk made us feel extremely welcome and were always on hand to give us great advice on the best things to see and do during our stay. The housekeeping and room amenities were top-notch – with heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and flat-screen TV, we felt truly pampered. We also loved the terrace and soundproofed rooms – perfect for a peaceful night's sleep.
