I recently stayed at Hotel Schloss Durnstein for a few days while exploring the beautiful Wachau Valley. The hotel perfectly captures the essence of an Austrian Schloss with its traditional design and tasteful decor. The room I stayed in was simply stunning, with furniture from different periods adding a unique charm. The cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. The food at the hotel was absolutely superb, both for lunch and breakfast. The location of the hotel in the charming village of Durnstein offered breathtaking views of the Danube. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location, right next to the river Donau, was absolutely stunning. The views from the restaurant terrace were breathtaking, especially during breakfast. The staff treated me with excellent service and made me feel very welcomed. They even surprised me with a farewell gift and a basket of fruits upon arrival. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the facilities, including the indoor pool with sauna and relax area, were fantastic. I also enjoyed the piano player in the bar and the cozy Grill restaurant in the garden. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this charming town.

We verbleven in een mooi en ruim appartement op een geweldige locatie. Het was heel dichtbij de belangrijkste toeristische attracties en het dichtstbijzijnde metrostation. De buurt was natuurlijk erg leuk en er waren veel hippe restaurantjes in de buurt. Natuurlijk was het Capitol op loopafstand, wat erg handig was. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel, met fijne bedden. De keuken was goed uitgerust en de badkamer was natuurlijk prima. Het personeel was erg behulpzaam en reageerde snel op onze vragen. We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf!

Helaas was het uitzicht vanaf de achterkant van het gebouw niet erg sfeervol, aangezien we uitkeken op de snelweg. Gelukkig was de kamer goed geïsoleerd en hebben we er met de ramen dicht vrijwel niets van gemerkt.

Location fantastic! Romantic getaway. Missed restaurant, found great local alternative. Walk streets, discover shops, restaurants. Perfect!

We recently had a romantic escape at a historical hotel in Duernstein and we were amazed by the outstanding facilities and friendly staff. The hotel perfectly combines the charm of the past with modern amenities, creating a unique experience. We loved the large and well-appointed rooms, and the comfortable bed made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's key location overlooking the Danube and its proximity to the charming town of Duernstein allowed us to explore the beautiful Wachau Valley. it was a memorable experience that we would highly recommend.

While our romantic escape was wonderful, there were a few aspects that . Firstly, we missed having coffee making facilities in the room, as it would have been convenient to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

The food was superb, both for lunch and breakfast. Lovely rooms, charming village location. Try the apricots and sekt! Friendly and professional service.

The hotel had beautiful common areas with antiques and a fantastic restaurant that had great food and service. the view of the river and the inner court from our room was amazing, and the location of the hotel was stunning. the spa facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam room, and infrared cabin were fantastic.

The bathroom had no shower and almost no toiletries were provided other than wall-mounted squeeze tubes of combo shower gel and shampoo. There were also only a few options for the programmed thermostat, and even in the coldest setting, the room got stuffy and steamy after showers.

I had a great experience during my Easter weekend at this hotel. the location was perfect, with stunning views of the Danube River. I also loved the unique and cozy interior of the hotel, which showcased interesting antique details. Each room had its own distinct decoration and color, adding to the charm. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to cool down the room at night, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Despite the luxurious amenities, the Wi-Fi connection can be erratic at times, which is inconvenient for business travellers.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. We had a room with a stunning view of the Danube River and the inner courtyard. The location in the center of the village, right on the Danube, was perfect. We were able to explore the nearby Merck Monastery, the charming Dürnstein village, and the shops in Krems. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we especially enjoyed the two swimming pools after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Breakfast was of excellent quality, and we felt very safe and secure in this uncertain time.
